Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Open the can of cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing packets. Cut each roll into four pieces and place them into a large mixing bowl.
- Open the can of apple pie filling and add it directly to the bowl of cinnamon rolls. Gently stir to combine until the rolls are well-coated.
- Pour the mixture into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or any oven-safe dish. Spread it into an even layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the rolls have risen beautifully. If they brown too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil.
- Drizzle with reserved icing and serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For a crispier top, briefly broil for 1-2 minutes at the end, but watch closely to prevent burning. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
