Method
Preparation
- Remove the biscuits from the can and gently peel each one to separate it into two layers, yielding 16 individual layers.
- Flatten each layer into a 4-inch circle using a rolling pin or your hands.
Filling and Sealing
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of Nutella into the center of each circle.
- Fold the sides of the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly and shape into balls.
Cooking
- Generously brush the tops and bottoms of the bombs with melted butter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 330°F. Spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray and place the bombs in a single layer, about 2 inches apart.
- Air fry for 7-8 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes and then dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
Notes
Allow bombs to sit for a minute after air frying as they will be molten inside. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days at room temperature or a week in the fridge.
