Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Use Philadelphia for the best consistency.
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded Opt for freshly shredded for maximum flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
For the Poppers
  • 10 large fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded Choose fresh, firm peppers for the best texture.
  • 10 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked until crispy and cut in half Thick-cut bacon is recommended for extra crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded parmesan, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until fully blended.
  3. Using a spoon or a small spatula, fill each jalapeno half with about 1 tablespoon of the cheesy filling.
  4. Take a half strip of crispy bacon and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeño, pressing down slightly to secure it.
Cooking
  1. Place the stuffed and wrapped jalapeños on the lined baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bacon is crispy.
  2. Allow to cool for a moment before serving warm.

Notes

Leftover poppers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Consider serving with ranch dressing or spicy salsa.
