Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Flank Steak, sliced thinly against the grain Choose well-marbled for enhanced flavor.
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets Fresh broccoli adds better texture.
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce Can substitute with hoisin sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth or Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Drizzle at the end for flavor.
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth. Set aside.
  2. Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
  3. Mince the garlic.
Cooking
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the sauce mixture, and stir well to combine.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot over rice.

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, serve over rice or quinoa and drizzle with additional sesame oil. This dish can be meal prepped and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
