Ingredients

Basic Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Choose high-quality, European-style for richer flavor.
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Use quality vanilla extract for the best flavor.
  • 2 large eggs Substitute with flax eggs for a vegan option.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Opt for gourmet for better melting.
  • 1 cup tart dried cranberries Packed with antioxidants.
  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed Add crunch and salty flavor.
  • 1/2 cup festive candies
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles For added festive appeal.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing just until combined to avoid overworking the dough.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips, dried cranberries, crushed pretzels, festive candies, and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving enough space between each mound.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and the centers appear slightly underbaked.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
