Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a small baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and dry the celery thoroughly, then cut each stalk into 4 pieces for easy filling and serving.
- In a medium bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, blue cheese, most of the crumbled bacon, green onions (reserve some for garnish), garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
Assembly
- Using a spoon or a piping bag, generously fill each celery piece with the creamy mixture.
- In a small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the filled celery pieces.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until the filling is warm and the topping is lightly golden.
- For an extra golden finish, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent burning.
Garnishing
- Finish with the reserved bacon, green onions, and chopped chives or parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter filling, consider using Greek yogurt. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
