Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups watermelon, cut into 1 to 1.5 inch cubes Look for seedless, ripe watermelons for the best sweetness.
  • 200 g feta cheese, cut into cubes Opt for high-quality, block feta instead of crumbled for a richer taste.
  • 1 small bunch fresh mint leaves Choose vibrant green leaves; they should smell fragrant and fresh.
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze Elevates the flavor profile!
  • Wooden skewers or cocktail sticks Soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning if grilling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the watermelon and feta into evenly sized cubes—about 1 to 1.5 inches works well.
  2. Rinse and gently pat dry the mint leaves to ensure they’re fresh.
Assembly
  1. Starting with a wooden skewer, thread one watermelon cube.
  2. Next, fold a mint leaf and place it on the skewer, followed by a feta cube.
  3. Repeat the sequence if the skewer length allows, aiming for a colorful arrangement of 2-3 watermelon cubes and feta.
Finishing Touch
  1. Place them on a serving platter in a nice pattern.
  2. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of balsamic glaze over the top for that extra pop of flavor!
Serving
  1. Serve the skewers right away to enjoy their freshness.

Notes

Timing matters: Assemble right before serving to keep the mint looking bright and fresh. Ingredient quality: Use the freshest ingredients possible for the best taste.
